What is the export process for second-hand equipment?
Inquiry – booking – packing – customs declaration – preparation of bill of lading, customs clearance – delivery.
1. Provide information such as container type, container quantity, cargo weight per container, port of departure, port of destination, shipping time, and product name. Understand the cut-off date for container closing, cut-off time for material replenishment, sailing time, and port arrival time.
2. After accepting the quotation, arrange for booking: fill out the shipping order (BOOKING) for booking, shipping order (S/O), obtain the S/O before loading the container, and issue the manifest to the trucking company (shipowners do not issue manifests on Saturday afternoons and Sundays). Try to load the container 2 days before the cut-off date to allow sufficient time for customs clearance.
3. Arrange for a trailer to load the container: Provide the loading location, loading time, contact person, and contact phone number.
4. After the containers are loaded and brought into the dock, customs declaration needs to be arranged in a timely manner.
5. Before the shipowner cuts off the replenishment, verify the bill of lading information, make payment to redeem the document, and handle other necessary customs clearance procedures abroad
